How Do I Access Cpanel?

Accessing the cPanel front end within your dedicated hosting plan for utilising managed hosting options like email, phpmyadmin, file host, among others, is quite simple, and as cPanel is the most popular tool for any business hosting environment due to its ease of use, you can make many needed adjustments to your website operations with little effort.

To access Cpanel follow these steps:

  • Simply type your domain name into the address bar and include a forward slash with the word cPanel in lowercase following the slash (e.g. http://mydomain.com/cpanel or http://www.mydomain.com/cpanel).
  • Usually you will be prompted at this point for your user name and password. Key those in, and your cPanel front end page should load, giving you access to all of the options available.
  • If you need to connect securely, you can simply log in this way: https://mydomain.com/cpanel or if your dedicated hosting plan allows, you can tweak the settings so that every time you log into cPanel, it will always connect securely.
