To use PuTTy to connect to your server via SSH:
- Download and install the client from the URL above.
- Open the client.
- Under the Sessions menu, input the IP address of the server.
- Make sure that the SSH button is selected.
- Click Open.
- Use root as the login name.
- Enter the root password.
If the username and password were correctly entered, you should be logged into the server.
